Honestly, while being a top manager, I have also fallen into the trap of believing that fundamental change can be effected by the management presentations which I delivered to thousands of people around the world. I do no longer believe that. Yes, presentations still are a useful tool sometimes. However, without an authentic, believable and tangible story as well as commitment and respect towards everyone who needs to be on board to make change happen, the slides won’t help either. Instead, build a story that connects the path forward with the needs of your people. I would like to help with that.
